Our Obligation

Open your passport (or anybody’s American passport) and go to the back cover, the top left of the last page. It states:

Every generation has the obligation to free men’s minds for a look at new worlds, to look out from a higher plateau than the last generation. Ellison Onizuka.

We will never have world peace until we all do this. Non-acceptance, racism, politics, religion only equals fear, anger, ignorance. Go someplace different, embrace a different culture, try a new food, embrace different music, meet fun, new people. It doesn’t have to be far or exotic. Wander away from your comfort zone. The world was meant for exploration.
