The Smart Packing Lady

It's ALL about the bag

Travel luggage is important.

I love my bag. I’ve had it for years. It’s lightweight, on wheels, easy to wipe clean, stores a bunch, slides easily onto my larger roller board which means maneuvering only one unit between planes. The right bag can make a big difference in your travel experience.

The bag I’m most fond of is, The Travelon, and most importantly, it fits under every seat, every time (so far), so I can always carry-on.
It’s also been used as a seat for tiny rears, in a pinch, providing a nice ride for little travelers whose short legs grow weary whilst walking through huge airports. (It gets a lot of smiles, comments and thumbs up, 👍🏼👍🏼, which entertains said weary little traveler.)

I carry a Cpap with me ALWAYS, plus jewelry, medications, a small iPad or Kindle, a snack, a tiny toothbrush, socks and the all important shawl and ink pen, (more on this later), all in this bag with no problems, ever!

It has nice outside zippered pockets so I have access to things even while in-flight , when it’s under the seat in front of me. The side pockets for easy access to cellphone, and/or glasses work well. I like having the capability to lock it and the ability to slide it over the top of other bag handles. The inside has netting to keep things separate and a plastic lined zipper area that’s great for liquids. If I place liquids or powdery items in ziplock baggies and then in my plastic compartment inside the bag, I never worry about having a mess when I arrive.

The travelon quilted anti-theft wheeled under seat carry-on, so far, has been my favorite bag.

As mentioned above, it features 2 zip front pockets and 2 zip-top pockets, a zippered organizer with a padded electronic pocket, a front zip slash pocket, a fold flat water bottle compartment and an added bag strap and a long telescope firm handle, that is great for tying a sweater around if needed. This bag just seems perfect for me, the female traveler. Good for short or long trips.

Travel On…..I like that. It’s gotta nice ring to it. ✈️

In the meantime, check on that passport and/or your starred drivers license. Either apply for a new one online or check to see that your current one is not in risk of expiring during a trip this year.
